Job summary

TGK Automotive Specialists in Ham Lake, MN is seeking Junior Automotive Technician / Mechanic to diagnose and repair vehicles per MAP guidelines and company standards.

Responsibilities include diagnosing vehicles, following Multi-point Inspection, explaining repairs to customers, and maintaining ASE certifications. Qualifications

• Must have High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Prefer a minimum of unexpired ASE or equivalent experience or training.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses vehicles according to certification/experience level.
• Performs work as outlined on the Multi-point Inspection/Repair Order with accuracy.
• Explains diagnosis and needed repairs to non-mechanical staff or customers.
• Recommends necessary services and documents all recommendations.
• Follows safety procedures and reports concerns to Shop Foreman/Store Manager.
• Maintains ASE certifications and renewals.
