Job summary

TGK Automotive Specialists in Champlin, MN seeks a Senior Automotive Technician to diagnose and repair customer vehicles to high standards. You will work with a seasoned team, handle multi-point inspections and communicate findings clearly to customers.

Competitive compensation ($65,000–$90,000 per year depending on experience), bi-weekly pay, tuition reimbursement, paid time off, holidays, and full medical/dental/vision benefits plus life insurance and a 401(k) match.

Qualifications

• Previous automotive technician/mechanic experience required.
• ASE certifications in lieu of experience accepted.
• Ability to demonstrate proper use of computerized equipment for diagnostics.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose vehicles according to certifications/experience.
• Perform multi-point inspections and repairs with efficiency and accuracy.
• Explain diagnoses and needed repairs to customers and store staff.
• Document all recommendations in the customer file and follow safety procedures.
• Work Monday–Friday and adhere to company policies.
