Job summary

Cox Automotive in Marietta, GA seeks a master-level auto technician to perform heavy-duty diagnostics, clutch and transmission work, and parts coordination. You will work independently or in teams, escalating issues when needed.

The role requires a HS diploma or GED with several years in the field, a valid driver's license, and the ability to work with standard, automatic, and electric vehicles. Sign-on bonus available for new hires.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED with 5 years' related field experience.
• Alternative: degree/certification plus 3 years' related experience; or 7 years' related experience.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Ability to drive standard, automatic and electric vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Working independently or in a team environment.
• Performing advanced diagnostics.
• Clutch and transmission replacement.
• Identifying required parts and partner with our parts & procurement teams to acquire necessary parts, supplies and materials.
• Alerting team lead and/or management about difficult issues, patterns and trends.
• May upfit new vehicles with necessary equipment.
• May be required to perform OEM recalls.
