Job summary

Manheim, a Cox Automotive company, is seeking a Senior Automotive Technician to perform heavy‑duty work, conduct advanced diagnostics, and handle clutch/transmission replacements on site. You will work independently or in teams and collaborate with parts and procurement to secure needed items.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; safe driving record required.
• 5+ years of related automotive technician experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to drive standard, automatic and electric vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Perform heavy-duty work and duties of a level 1 and 2 automotive technician.
• Work independently or in a team environment.
• Perform advanced diagnostics.
• Clutch and transmission replacement.
• Identify required parts and coordinate with parts/procurement teams to acquire them.
• Alert team lead to difficult issues or trends.
• May upfit new vehicles with necessary equipment and perform OEM recalls.
