Job summary

Sun Auto Tire & Service is seeking a Senior Automotive Technician in Texas to diagnose and repair customer vehicles with precision, adhering to MAP guidelines and dealership standards. The role emphasizes high-quality work, safety, and customer communication.

Qualified candidates bring automotive technician experience or ASE certifications, valid driver's license, and ability to obtain a State Inspector license if required.

Qualifications

• ASE certifications optional in lieu of experience
• High School Diploma or equivalent; Technical School preferred
• State Inspector License or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire (in applicable locations)

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses vehicles according to certification/experience level
• Performs work outlined on inspection/repair orders with efficiency and accuracy
• Performs complex and heavy-duty repairs
• Explains diagnoses and repairs to customers or store leadership
• Documents all recommendations in the customer file
• Follows safety procedures and reports concerns
• Supports flexible work schedules, including weekends (but not Sundays)
• Adheres to Sun Auto values and policies
