Job summary

Manheim, part of Cox Automotive, is seeking a Senior Auto Maintenance Tech. You will perform heavy-duty diagnostics, clutch and transmission replacements, and parts identification in collaboration with procurement.

Independent or team-based work is expected, with growth opportunities and ongoing training to adapt to evolving automotive tech. Requirements include 5+ years of automotive service experience, ability to operate standard, automatic and electric vehicles, and transmission expertise.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of automotive service and repair experience.
• Ability to drive standard, automatic and electric vehicles.
• Must continue training to meet with technology and automotive changes as they occur.
• Must have transmission experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform heavy duty work and complex diagnostics.
• Clutch and transmission replacement.
• Identify required parts and partner with procurement to acquire parts.
• Alert team lead/management about difficult issues, patterns and trends.
• May upfit new vehicles with necessary equipment.
• May be required to perform OEM recalls.
