Job summary

Fowler Ford in Tulsa, OK is expanding its mainline service team and seeks an Automotive Service Technician capable of handling advanced diagnostics, heavy line work, electrical systems and climate control repairs. This full-time role excludes Quick Lane, lube rack, or basic maintenance tasks.

Two to four years’ experience with Ford certifications preferred (ASE optional) and a robust tool set are required. A valid driver’s license and clean driving record are essential; the compensation package

Qualifications

• Two to four years’ related experience and/or training.
• Ford certifications highly preferred; ASE certifications optional.
• High proficiency with service manuals, wiring diagrams, and TSBs/recalls.
• Ownership of a comprehensive, professional-grade tool set.
• Must have valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Advanced Diagnostics: Troubleshooting drivability, performance, and electrical issues using diagnostic tools and manufacturer software.
• Heavy Line & Powertrain: Repairs and full replacements of major components.
• Electrical Systems: Testing wiring harnesses, diagnosing CAN bus faults, replacing/programming modules.
• Chassis & HVAC: Complex steering/suspension repairs, advanced alignments, climate control system service.
• Quality Control: Road-testing to ensure issues are resolved on first fix.
• Documentation: Data-driven repair order documentation to comply with warranty protocols.
• Shop Efficiency: Coordinate with management to optimize bay throughput.
