Job summary

Commercial Tire Inc. in Boise, ID is seeking an Auto Service Tech Level 3 to inspect and service vehicles, perform preventive maintenance, tire rotations, alignments, oil changes, and brake and suspension work.

Qualifications

• Customer-focused mechanical technician with troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude for vehicle systems and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Inspect vehicles and communicate repair items to the front counter.
• Perform preventive maintenance including tire rotation, balancing, alignments, and oil changes.
• Handle brake, steering, suspension, and transmission repairs per specs.
• Mentor junior technicians and ensure certifications are maintained.
• Ensure safety practices and shop cleanliness are followed.
