Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking a General Manager in the United States to drive store sales and service excellence. You will lead a diverse team, develop professional customer relationships, and manage day-to-day operations with a focus on profitability and inventory control.

Experience in retail leadership, strong communication, and the ability to work long hours including weekends are essential. ASE or related qualifications are a plus.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience managing a team of 10–20 in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Successful experience managing profitability and business metrics.
• Bachelor’s degree in business or related area preferred; ASE certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Achieve overall store sales goals and service objectives.
• Manage and grow Professional Customer relationships and sales.
• Hire, develop, coach, schedule and engage store team members.
• Ensure execution of inventory and operating standards.
• Coach team to meet customer expectations (DIY and Professional).
• Oversee on-duty responsibilities and safety, open/close duties.
