Job summary

Advance Auto Parts, Inc. is seeking a General Manager to lead daily store operations, drive sales and service excellence, and mentor a diverse team.

The role requires knowledge of automotive parts, expertise in store systems, and the ability to manage 50-55 hour weeks, including nights and weekends. ASE certification preferred, bachelor's degree preferred, and compensation includes commission opportunities.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years leading a retail team in a fast-paced setting.
• Experience managing profitability and store operations.
• Must have excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Achieve store sales goals and service objectives.
• Lead and develop team members, including hiring and scheduling.
• Ensure inventory and operational standards are met.
• Coach staff to meet customer expectations (DIY and pros).
• Oversee duties of manager on duty and safety compliance.
