Job summary

Advance Auto Parts, Inc. in the United States is seeking a General Manager who will inspire our team, help customers succeed, and grow the business with integrity. This exempt role requires 50-55 hours weekly, with 11 hour shifts across 5-6 days including rotating nights and weekends.

You will lead overall store sales, manage Professional Customer relationships, hire and coach staff, and ensure inventory and service standards are met. ASE certification and strong P&L skills are valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s preferred.
• Strong leadership and customer service skills.
• Experience in retail automotive environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Achieve store sales goals and service objectives.
• Manage and grow Professional Customer relationships.
• Hire, develop, coach, and schedule store Team Members.
• Ensure inventory and operational standards are met.
• Lead on-duty responsibilities and safety practices.
• Analyze P&L and implement improvement plans.
