Job summary

The Genuine Parts Company is seeking a Senior Store Pro to deliver accurate, efficient service across in-store, phone, and dealer shop channels. You will identify and source parts, advise on technical questions, and maintain knowledge of products, warranties, and policies.

Responsibilities include sales engagement, issue resolution, inventory and delivery coordination, housekeeping, and Open/Close procedures. This role supports a fast-paced retail/store operations environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, professional, and courteous service to customers in-store, by phone, and in dealer shops.
• Accurately identify, source, and process parts orders using catalog and POS systems.
• Advise customers on technical product questions and recommend solutions.
• Maintain knowledge of products, warranties, sales programs, and policies.
• Execute sales practices including customer engagement, needs assessment, and product demonstrations.
• Resolve customer issues to ensure satisfaction and retention.
• Support store operations including stock orders, reporting discrepancies, and store presentation.
• Utilize delivery management systems to coordinate and dispatch deliveries.
• Perform general housekeeping, inventory control activities, and accurate records.
• Contribute to store operations and team support tasks to optimize performance.
• Assist with Open and Close Procedures in the store as needed.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives related to store processes.
• Ensure compliance with pricing, asset security, and operational procedures.
