Job summary

AutoZone is recruiting a Senior Retail Sales Associate in Alliance, OH to deliver WOW! Customer Service by helping customers select the right parts and offering expert automotive advice in a fast-paced store.

You will lead by example, assist teammates, hit sales goals, and handle merchandise, inventory, and safety procedures. Automotive knowledge and Spanish-English communication are valued; ASE certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Experience in automotive retail is preferred.
• Ability to lift and move merchandise.
• Flexible schedule including mornings, nights, weekends, overtime.
• ASE Certification is a plus.
• Bilingual Spanish-English communication is valued.

Responsibilities

• Customer Assistance & Communication - Engage with customers, provide trustworthy automotive advice, and ensure positive interactions through clear, professional communication.
• Leadership & Teamwork - Collaborate with managers and teammates to create a motivated, productive store environment. Support team members and demonstrate leadership in daily responsibilities.
• Sales & Metrics Mindedness - Recommend products, services, and promotions to enhance customer experience, while contributing to sales goals and store performance metrics.
• Inventory Management & Store Operations - Restock merchandise, maintain organization, and follow proper cash handling procedures, loss prevention policies ensuring proper financial management. Keep store operations running smoothly.
• Process Orientation & Safety Compliance - Utilize structured processes to complete assigned tasks efficiently. Follow company safety policies and use PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) to maintain a secure work environment.
• Product Knowledge & Installation Services - Stay up-to-date on automotive parts, tools, and promotions through AutoZone systems. Assist customers with install tasks such as wiper blades, batteries, and bulbs.
• Diagnostics Support - Use diagnostic tools to read codes from customer vehicles and recommend solutions.
