Progressive is seeking a senior claims specialist in the United States. You will investigate complex injury claims, consult with police, medical professionals, claimants and other parties to determine coverage, liability and total claim value.

This is a hybrid role with periodic in-office collaboration. The ideal candidate has strong negotiation and customer service skills, excellent organization and problem-solving abilities, and experience in auto injury claims.

Qualifications

• Five years of relevant work experience with two years in claims handling.
• Two years in claims handling and a bachelor’s degree.
• Four years of relevant work experience with two years in claims handling and an associate degree.

Responsibilities

• Investigate complex and high-risk injury claims, including attorney-represented cases.
• Consult with police, medical professionals, claimants and others to gather information.
• Determine coverage, liability and the total value of the claim.
