Job summary

Safelite is seeking Auto Glass Technicians in Hickory, NC. Join the industry leader in vehicle glass repair, replacement, and recalibration, with opportunities at Technician, Senior Technician, or Master Technician levels based on experience and certifications.

You’ll perform repairs and replacements, recalibrate safety systems, operate advanced tools, and deliver exceptional customer service while coaching peers and mentoring others as you advance in the role.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 1+ years of vehicle glass installation/repair experience for Technician level.
• 3+ years for Senior Technician; 5+ years for Master Technician.

Responsibilities

• Provide all vehicle glass repair and replacement services at a Safelite Shop or Mobile Glass Shop.
• Recalibrating automotive safety systems, including troubleshooting and diagnostic testing.
• Operate Safelite’s tools and technologies (True Seal, Ezi-Wire, GTS, Chemicals).
• Safely operate company and customer vehicles during the workday.
• Communicate with customers in-person, via text, and phone; promote Safelite services.
• Senior/Master levels to mentor and coach others.
