Qualifications

• BA/BS degree required; JD preferred.
• 7–10 years of casualty claims experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage a casualty claims portfolio involving significant bodily injury, property damage, and coverage issues.
• Conduct coverage and exposure analysis, establish reserves, and identify severity issues early.
• Communicate key developments promptly with management, underwriters, and other stakeholders.
• Oversee assigned counsel and execute claim strategies to control expenses and resolve litigated matters.
• Maintain accurate, timely claim documentation, correspondence, diaries, and portfolio trend analysis in line with company standards.
• Support renewals, policy and endorsement drafting, negotiations, and ongoing knowledge-sharing across the team.
