Autoworks in Kittery, ME, is seeking an Automotive Technician to diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and drivability concerns, perform advanced diagnostics, and complete vehicle inspections.

The position offers a pay rate of $40-$60 per hour, a Monday–Friday schedule, weekly pay, and a 40-hour guarantee for the first 90 days; employer-paid health, disability, life insurance, and diverse benefits.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of professional automotive technician experience.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities.
• Experience with drivability concerns and electrical systems.
• Experience in independent repair shops or dealerships.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and drivability concerns
• Perform advanced automotive diagnostics and troubleshooting using professional diagnostic equipment
• Complete general automotive repairs, maintenance, and thorough vehicle inspections
• Perform digital vehicle inspections using Shop-Ware
• Document diagnostic findings and repair work
• Communicate repair needs with service advisors and leadership
• Maintain high standards for repair quality and efficiency
• Handle a workload with 30%-35% diagnostic work
