Job summary

HDVI seeks a Senior Physical Damage Adjuster to join our Claims and Fleet Services Team. You will investigate, evaluate, and resolve high‑severity auto physical damage and motor truck cargo claims, leveraging telematics and evidence to support sound decisions and timely resolutions.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in auto physical damage with trucking exposure, active adjuster licenses, and strong analytical, negotiation, and cost‑containment skills.

Responsibilities

• Independently investigate, evaluate, negotiate, and resolve complex and high-severity commercial auto physical damage and motor truck cargo claims.
• Conduct comprehensive coverage, causation, and damage investigations using telematics, dash-camera footage, GPS/ELD data, and supporting documents.
• Investigate and evaluate complex motor truck cargo losses reviewing bills of lading, shipping documents, and valuation records.
• Develop and maintain loss reserves and negotiate settlements within authority, coordinating with insureds, claimants, cargo owners, shippers, and vendors.
