Job summary

Gallagher Bassett is seeking an experienced Claims Adjuster to handle high-exposure auto liability claims from inception through resolution. The role emphasizes complex bodily injury investigations, coverage analysis, liability determinations, and settlement negotiations with defense counsel across multi-jurisdictional exposures.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of related claims experience, active licenses in relevant states, and a track record in TPA environments.

Qualifications

• High-exposure and litigated auto liability claims handling from inception through resolution.
• Complex bodily injury investigations.
• Coverage analysis and liability determination.
• Settlement negotiations and mediation participation.
• Partnership with defense counsel throughout the litigation process.
• TPA claims experience strongly preferred.
• Experience managing multi-jurisdictional claim exposures.

Responsibilities

• Investigate, evaluate, and resolve Auto Liability claims, applying your claims experience to make informed decisions.
• Work with clients to deliver innovative solutions and enhance claims management.
• Think critically, solve problems, and plan/ prioritize activities to serve clients.
