Qualifications

• Experience in vehicle repair and repair planning.
• Ability to read and interpret measuring data for repair accuracy.
• Familiarity with safety procedures in auto body shops.

Responsibilities

• Examines damaged vehicle and efficiently plans repair process.
• Communicates repair status with teammates.
• Performs quality repairs while maintaining on-time status.
• Decides on repair vs. replace considering safety, cost, and cycle time.
• Removes upholstery, accessories, electrical and hydraulic components to access areas.
• Participates in safety meetings.
• Files, grinds, and sands surfaces using power and hand tools.
• Supervises an apprentice when needed and explains procedures.
