The role requires frame machine operation, knowledge of manufacturer repair processes, and I-CAR welding certification.

Qualifications

• Frame machine knowledge and ability to operate frame equipment.
• I-CAR welding certification or equivalent experience.
• Understanding of vehicle repair processes by manufacturers.
• Ability to supervise repair personnel and guide apprentices.
• Willingness to undergo thorough background check.

Responsibilities

• Examine damaged vehicle and plan repair process.
• Communicate repair status with team.
• Perform quality repairs while maintaining on-time status.
• Decide on repair vs. replacement considering safety and cost.
• Disassemble/reassemble components to access areas.
• Attend safety meetings and follow protocols.
• Prepare surfaces with grinding and finishing tools.
• Direct apprentices and explain procedures when needed.
