Abercrombie & Fitch Co. is seeking a Senior Auditor, Operational and Compliance, to lead audits across a broad portfolio and partner with teams to strengthen governance, processes, and controls.

The role emphasizes data-driven insights, strong communication, and project management in a fast-paced environment. The position is hybrid with in-office days in New Albany/Columbus, OH, and flexibility on other days.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, information systems, or related field.
• Professional certification such as CIA, CPA, CISA, or CFE preferred.
• Minimum 4 years of progressive experience in operational/internal audit, compliance, finance, risk, consulting, or related roles.
• Experience scoping audits or advisory projects and developing work programs.
• Ability to translate observations into practical recommendations with strong data skills.

Responsibilities

• Support Internal Audit’s annual risk assessment and agile risk identification processes by helping assess operational, financial, compliance, and strategic risks across the business.
• Lead project work within the Operational and Compliance audit portfolio, including developing audit scope, objectives, audit programs, testing procedures, and evaluating design and operating effectiveness of processes and controls.
• Identify and evaluate exposures to the Company and partner with the business to develop cost-effective action plans to mitigate risk.
• Support SOX efforts, including walkthroughs, testing, and deficiency evaluation, coordinating with Internal Controls and external auditors.
• Embed with business teams on transformation initiatives and advisory projects to provide governance and controls perspectives.
• Summarize audit insights using data visualization and clear written communication for leadership and stakeholders.
