Job summary

Capital One seeks an energetic Principal Auditor to join the Dynamic Audit Resourcing Team. You will lead audits or major components, develop planning documentation, design procedures, and document findings for diverse risk areas.

You will also coach staff and strengthen client relationships while adapting to evolving audit challenges. The role emphasizes data analytics, technology leverage, and delivering high-quality, timely assurance in a collaborative, hybrid environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or military experience.
• At least 4 years of auditing experience.
• Preferred: leading audits and acting as auditor-in-charge.
• Preferred: banking or financial services background.
• Preferred: data analysis skills and IT auditing experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead small audits or components of larger audits.
• Develop engagement planning and audit programs.
• Design and execute audit procedures and document findings.
• Prepare organized documentation and draft findings.
