You will mentor junior staff, prepare workpapers and financial statements in accordance with GAAP or OCBOA, and engage with clients to ensure timely, high-quality service. CPA certification or active candidacy is preferred, with strong analytical and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting.
• 3-4 years of progressive experience in public accounting.
• CPA certification or active candidacy preferred.
• Strong analytical and detail-oriented with excellent time management.

Responsibilities

• Lead and perform diverse accounting and auditing assignments with minimal supervision.
• Mentor staff accountants and ensure high-quality work per professional standards.
• Prepare workpapers and financial statements in compliance with GAAP or OCBOA.
• Participate in planning and scheduling client engagements to meet deadlines.
• Recommend improvements to internal controls and operations.
• Communicate with clients to enable smooth engagements.
