Job summary

SC&H Group seeks a Senior Auditor to join our Hunt Valley, MD headquarters. You will provide clients with accounting, audit and business consulting services while building strong relationships with client personnel.

The role requires 2–3 days per week in the Hunt Valley office; remote candidates will not be considered. CPA in progress or completed is preferred, with 2–4 years in Public Accounting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance with a minimum GPA of 3.2.
• 2–4 years of audit experience in Public Accounting (Big 4/national or large regional preferred).
• CPA designation or working toward is required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Provide clients with accounting, audit and business consulting services.
• Maintain a strong client focus by effectively serving client needs and developing productive working relationships with client personnel.
• Stay abreast of new accounting pronouncements/standards and other guidance relevant to the client's business.
• Display teamwork, integrity, leadership, initiative and set goals for specific engagements.
• Take intelligent risks on assignments without detailed guidance.
• Utilize technology and data analytics to continually learn and enhance service delivery.
• Understand SC&H and its service lines and encourage team members to contribute ideas.
