Job summary

The Food Safety and Inspection Service seeks an experienced auditor to conduct and oversee onsite and virtual financial and compliance reviews of state agency operations, financial systems, and practices.

A degree in auditing or related field is required, plus 4 years in performance auditing, and CPA or CIA certification. Telework is eligible. This role is with FSIS, Department of Agriculture, focusing on cooperative inspection programs and ensuring effective financial controls.

Qualifications

• Degree in auditing or related field such as business administration, finance, public administration or accounting.
• At least 4 years of experience in Performance Auditing.
• Certification: CIA or CPA, or degree with substantial auditing/accounting coursework (15 semester hours).
