State of South Carolina’s Department of Social Services seeks a Senior Auditor to lead audits of agency operations and provider arrangements, ensuring internal control, compliance, and program integrity. A Bachelor's Degree in accounting and three (3) years of accounting or auditing experience.
A Master's Degree in accounting and one (1) years of accounting or auditing experience.
Five (5) years of risk-based auditing experience.
Must possess a valid driver's license. Normal work conditions are in an office either in the State Agency, a County DSS office, or the office of the Provider. Travel involved about 10% of the time. Overnight travel involved about 5% of time. Ability to transport workpapers and laptop computers - approximately 30 pounds - roll-cart provided.
