Job summary

Louisiana Blue is seeking a Lead Audit Services Consultant to guide engagements across financial, operational, and IT controls. You will provide risk-based input, design control solutions, and mentor staff while collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.

The role requires strong leadership, advanced IT and cybersecurity knowledge, and excellent communication skills to navigate healthcare regulatory environments and complex systems.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Computer Science or related technical field; Master’s preferred.
• Six years of related work experience can be used in lieu of a degree.
• Healthcare industry experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise audit engagements, including special projects, across financial, operational, and IT domains.
• Provide risk and control input, design recommendations, and advisory services for new and existing processes.
• Mentor and coach Audit Consulting staff and seniors; engage with BCBSLA and external organizations.
• Coordinate audit planning and reporting, maintain policies and standards, and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Communicate complex audit issues clearly to management at all levels.
• Perform assessments to identify risks and remediation needs and support implementation of controls.
