U.S. Bank’s Payment Services division seeks a Senior Audit Project Manager to lead complex audit engagements, evaluate risk management, and advise on governance across USB entities.

This role focuses on the Payment Services products, services, and operations within a highly regulated environment. You will manage end-to-end audits, mentor staff, engage with leadership and regulators, and produce clear reports that reflect findings and recommendations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Typically 8+ years of applicable audit or risk experience.
• 3+ years in project leadership roles.
• Strong knowledge of Payment Services risks, controls, and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing business needs.

Responsabilités

• Develop and maintain a risk-based audit plan for Payment Services over 12–18 months.
• Manage end-to-end audit projects, including fieldwork and reporting.
• Review work for accuracy and adherence to standards.
• Build relationships with leadership, risk teams, and regulators.
• Lead and coach audit staff; support recruiting and development.
