Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking a Senior Audit Project Manager within Corporate Audit Services to lead complex audit engagements for Payment Services, ensuring adherence to internal standards and regulatory requirements.

The role emphasizes project management, risk assessment, and collaboration across three lines of defense to deliver high-quality audit results. The position requires working from a U.S. Bank location at least three days per week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience.
• Typically more than 8 years of applicable experience.
• Advanced degree or professional certification (CIA, CPA, CISA) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Audit Planning & Risk Assessment: Develop risk-based audit plan for Payment Services for 12–18 months.
• Audit Execution & Quality Assurance: Manage end-to-end audits and review work for accuracy and CAS standards.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Build relationships with leadership, risk teams, and regulators across 3 lines of defense.
• Team Leadership & Development: Guide audit staff, support recruitment and development.
• Reporting & Governance: Prepare reports for senior management and regulators.
• Other Duties: Assist with cross-functional audits and special initiatives.
