Job summary

UHY Advisors Northeast, Inc. is seeking an Audit Senior Manager to lead and direct audit engagements for a diverse client base.

You will supervise and mentor teams, manage budgets and timelines, and ensure quality and compliance with GAAP and regulatory standards. In this role you’ll cultivate client relationships, provide strategic insights to improve controls and reporting, and contribute to business development while staying current on industry trends and thought leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• 8+ years of relevant experience.
• 5+ years of relevant audit experience within a CPA firm with progressive leadership.
• CPA license required; equivalents for IT audit accepted.
• Meet minimum CPE credit requirements.
• Experience with Gaming, Casinos, Digital Currency, Blockchain, Crypto.
• Experience in professional services environment such as CPA/consulting.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct audit engagements across diverse clients.
• Plan, execute, and conclude audits with adherence to timelines and budgets.
• Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships as primary contact.
• Develop comprehensive audit strategies aligned with client objectives and regulations.
• Oversee resource allocation and development of audit programs.
• Ensure high-quality documentation and regulatory compliance.
• Identify opportunities for service expansions and business development.
• Assess and manage risks and contribute to thought leadership.
