CLA is seeking an Audit Director or Audit Manager to join our Carolantaville Manufacturing and Logistics Industry team. This in-office role can be based in Charlotte, Raleigh, or Winston-Salem.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
• CPA license certification is required.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in a large professional services or public accounting firm.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee audit and assurance engagements for manufacturing clients, guiding them through all phases of the engagement lifecycle with exceptional client service and value.
• Drive engagement strategy including planning, staffing, budgeting, and execution, ensuring projects are completed on time and aligned with client expectations.
• Serve as a trusted advisor and key decision-maker for client engagements, communicating progress, recommendations, and developments to engagement principals and client leadership.
• Build, mentor, and develop high-performing teams by recruiting talent, coaching, and managing performance.
• Cultivate strong client relationships, discuss engagement objectives, scope, timelines, and fees from engagement letter through final deliverables.
• Review and enhance audit programs and internal control evaluations, providing technical oversight and ensuring quality and compliance.
• Monitor engagement performance, budgets, and deadlines while identifying opportunities to improve processes and deliver insights.
• Facilitate impactful client meetings, presenting findings, recommendations, and strategic insights that help organizations make informed business decisions.
