Atrium is seeking an experienced Audit Manager to oversee a portfolio of audits from planning through completion in Raleigh, NC. You will lead engagement teams, review workpapers, manage budgets and timelines, and mentor staff.

This role emphasizes strong client service, GAAP/GAAS knowledge, and the ability to develop proposals and fee structures while maintaining high-quality, timely deliverables.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of progressive public accounting or audit experience.
• CPA license or eligibility to obtain CPA licensure.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, GAAS, audit procedures, and financial reporting requirements.
• Experience supervising, mentoring, or developing accounting and audit professionals.

Responsabilités

• Lead multiple audit engagements from planning through completion.
• Develop engagement plans with scope, staffing, budgets and timelines.
• Evaluate audit risks and determine engagement strategies.
• Apply GAAP, GAAS, and other applicable standards.
• Review audit workpapers and financial statements for accuracy and compliance.
• Identify and evaluate control deficiencies and communicate findings to clients and firm leadership.
• Monitor engagement progress, budgets, deadlines and profitability.
• Supervise, train, and mentor staff and senior team members.
• Provide constructive feedback and support professional development.
• Serve as primary client contact throughout the engagement.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Assist with proposals and new business opportunities, including engagement scopes and fee structures.
