Job summary

Atrium Staffing LLC seeks an experienced Audit Manager to lead multiple audit engagements from planning to completion in a professional services setting.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of progressive public accounting or audit experience.
• CPA license or eligibility to obtain CPA licensure.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, GAAS, audit procedures, and financial reporting requirements.
• Experience managing audit engagements from planning through completion.
• Previous experience supervising, mentoring, or developing accounting and audit professionals.
• Strong client service and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to manage multiple engagements, deadlines, and priorities.
• Proficiency with audit and accounting software.
• Ability to work additional hours as needed during peak periods.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple audit engagements from planning through completion.
• Develop engagement plans including scope, staffing, budgets, and timelines.
• Evaluate audit risks and determine engagement strategies.
• Apply GAAP, GAAS, and applicable accounting standards.
• Review workpapers and financial statements for accuracy and compliance.
• Identify control deficiencies and communicate findings to clients and leadership.
• Monitor engagement progress, deadlines, and profitability.
• Supervise, train, and mentor staff and seniors.
• Provide feedback and support professional development.
• Serve as primary client contact throughout engagements.
• Build and maintain client relationships.
• Assist with proposals, scopes, and fee structures.
• Participate in professional development and training.
