Abacus is seeking a Sr. Manager, Audit to lead multiple engagements from planning through issuance, delivering top-tier client service and mentoring teams. The role is based in Fayetteville, AR or Springfield, MO, with travel within the service area and occasional peak-season hours.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field required.
• CPA license required; 7+ years audit experience in public accounting.
• Experience leading engagements and supervising teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple audit engagements from planning to issuance.
• Provide technical leadership on complex accounting matters.
• Manage and coach audit teams with timely feedback.
• Own client relationships at engagement level and drive value.
• Manage budgets, timelines, and profitability for engagements.
• Contribute to practice development and recruiting initiatives.
• Stay current on auditing standards and firm methodologies.
