Job summary

Weaver is seeking an Audit Senior to join our Energy team. The role leads key aspects of large engagements and acts as the in-charge professional, applying GAAP/GAAS expertise and advanced audit procedures.

You will manage client relationships through clear communication and solid project management. You will plan engagements, coordinate with supervisors, and design risk-based audit approaches to ensure high-quality financial statements and compliance.

Qualifications

• Strong project management, team orientation and interpersonal skills.
• CPA candidate required, CPA strongly preferred.
• 2+ years or more of public accounting experience, industry, or a combination of both.
• Energy and/or renewable energy industry experience.
• Thorough understanding of GAAP and GAAS.

Responsibilities

• Lead key aspects of larger, more complex engagements and serve as the in-charge professional.
• Develop and enhance client relationships through strong communication and project management skills.
• Execute engagement planning activities including time budgets and coordinating planning with supervision.
• Design a risk-based audit approach for complex financial statement areas.
