Huntington Bank is seeking a Senior Audit Data Analyst to join the Internal Audit Data Analytics team. You will apply data analytics and technology to support audit testing, evaluate risks, and provide data-driven insights across the organization.

You will partner with audit teams, business units, and technology partners to understand objectives, identify relevant data, and develop analytical solutions that improve audit coverage and effectiveness.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in data analytics, audit analytics, technology, risk management, or internal audit.
• Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, able to explain analytics to nontechnical audiences.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently or collaboratively.

Responsibilities

• Partner with audit teams to translate objectives into data-driven testing approaches.
• Obtain, analyze, and validate large datasets for audit engagements.
• Develop testing populations and analytical procedures to evaluate risks.
• Use SQL and analytics tools to identify anomalies and insights for audit objectives.
• Document methodology, assumptions, results, and conclusions per standards.
• Communicate analytic findings clearly to technical and nontechnical audiences.
• Collaborate with Internal Audit, Technology, Risk, Compliance, Finance, and business partners.
