Job summary

You will oversee planning through completion, ensuring compliance with GAAP/GAAS/SSARS, collaborate with tax and advisory professionals, and contribute to business development while maintaining high quality and professional standards.

Qualifications

• Active CPA license required.
• At least five years of public accounting experience with audit and assurance.
• Experience with HUD, Employee Benefit Plans, and Not-for-Profit audits.
• Demonstrated supervisory or managerial experience in public accounting.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage audit, review, and compilation engagements from planning through completion.
• Direct assurance engagements for HUD, Employee Benefit Plans, and Not-for-Profit organizations.
• Review workpapers and financial statements, providing feedback.
• Serve as primary point of contact for assigned clients and manage relationships.
• Identify opportunities to expand client relationships and contribute to business development.
• Stay current on accounting, auditing, and regulatory standards and communicate updates.
• Mentor and evaluate audit staff while supporting their growth.
• Collaborate with tax and advisory professionals to deliver integrated solutions.
• Oversee compliance with firm quality control policies and standards.
• Manage multiple engagements and priorities with high quality and timeliness.
