The role involves diverse accounting and auditing assignments, client engagement planning, and GAAP knowledge. CPA eligibility required with preference for CPA certification, and a minimum of 3 years in public accounting. Strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Meets all requirements to sit for CPA exam.
• CPA certification will be given preference.
• Minimum of 3 years in public accounting with progression in auditing and accounting tasks.
• Proficiency in accounting software.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational and analytical abilities.

Responsibilities

• Performs diversified accounting and auditing assignments under supervision.
• Participates in planning and scheduling client engagements.
• Prepares and indexes working papers; performs GAAP procedures.
• Develops understanding of GAAP, other bases of accounting, and financial statement presentation.
• Understands auditing standards and procedures.
• Communicates with clients to obtain information with minimal disruption.
