Job summary

Candidates should be CPA-eligible with at least 3 years in public accounting, strong communication skills, and proficiency with accounting software.

Qualifications

• CPA eligibility to sit for CPA exam or CPA licensure
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Strong organizational and analytical abilities
• Proficiency with accounting software and GAAP requirements

Responsibilities

• Performs diversified accounting and auditing assignments under the direction of supervisor and manager
• Participates in planning and scheduling client engagements
• Prepares and indexes working papers and performs procedures under GAAP to verify accuracy of client financials
• Develops understanding of auditing standards and common audit procedures
• Communicates with client to obtain information with minimal disruption to engagement
• Collaborates effectively within team on audits
