Job summary

GuideWell, via its Florida Blue division, is seeking an experienced data analytics consultant to support internal and external audit projects. You will extract data and build analyses using SQL, R, and Python, leveraging SAS, Posit and Snowflake under management guidance.

With 5+ years of relevant experience and a bachelor's in a related field, you will review data models, create queries, and deliver timely insights that enhance audit planning and execution.

Qualifications

• 5+ years related work experience in data analytics or internal audit.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting Information Systems, CS, Statistics, Math, Actuarial Science, Data Science or related field.
• Ability to review data models/metadata and create queries per project requirements.

Responsibilities

• Data extraction and custom analysis using SQL, R, Python with tools such as SAS, Posit, Snowflake.
• Deliver high-quality work products in a timely manner through strong project management.
• Identify new analysis and reporting solutions to improve audit planning and execution.
• Translate large datasets to identify trends, risks, and outliers.
• Review SQL queries and code artifacts and provide feedback to junior staff.
