Job summary

Royal Caribbean Group is seeking a full-time Lead of Audit and Advisory Services to join on-site in Miami, FL. The role focuses on SOX compliance, ICFR, and risk-based audits across corporate and shipboard operations.

You will lead audit engagements, mentor staff, and partner with management to strengthen controls and governance. Ideal candidates have 4–5 years in internal audit or risk, CPA/CIA/CISA preferred, and strong communication across levels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field.
• 4–5 years of experience in internal audit or risk management; Big 4 preferred.
• Strong understanding of GRC frameworks, COSO, COBIT, PCAOB, IIA, AICPA.
• Professional certifications (CPA, CIA, CISA) preferred.
• Cruise/travel industry experience is a plus.
• Proven track record leading audit engagements and teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, performance, and documentation of walkthroughs with management.
• Oversee ICFR assessment and SOX compliance, evaluating control design/operation.
• Design, execute, and review substantive and control tests with quality workpapers.
• Provide perspectives on risk assessments (ERA, shipboard, fraud, etc.).
• Manage fieldwork with minimal supervision and communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Perform shipboard audit procedures and report conclusions to AAS Management.
• Assist investigations into fraud or policy violations and coordinate with Legal.
• Contribute to annual Audit & Advisory Services plan and scheduling.
• Identify innovations and analytics to improve audit quality and efficiency.
• Supervise and mentor staff; conduct performance reviews and feedback.
• Oversee budgeting for audit engagements and resource allocation.
• Monitor project performance and adjust resources as needed.
• Stay current with industry trends and ongoing professional development.
• Perform other duties as required.
