Qualifikationen

• 3+ years of audit experience within a public accounting firm.
• Commercial real estate audit experience preferred.
• CPA certification, active CPA license, or progress toward CPA certification.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, auditing standards, internal controls, and procedures.
• Strong project management, analytical, organizational, communication, and problem solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a client service environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CaseWare or comparable audit software.
• Nonprofit and employee benefit plan audit experience is preferred.

Aufgaben

• Manage multiple client audit engagements and projects, taking responsibility for organization, execution, deadlines, and overall engagement success.
• Develop a strong working knowledge of each client's business, operations, financial reporting, and industry considerations.
• Build trusted client relationships while gathering information, resolving issues, and communicating engagement progress.
• Prepare and review financial statements, footnote disclosures, management letter comments, and engagement workpapers.
• Identify, communicate, and help resolve audit, accounting, internal control, and technical issues.
• Develop and tailor audit programs, engagement budgets, work schedules, and other engagement administration materials.
• Research and analyze financial statement and audit matters involving GAAP, auditing standards, internal controls, and complex audit procedures.
• Review engagement workpapers for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with professional standards.
• Supervise, train, and mentor audit staff throughout engagements.
• Participate in recruiting, training, and professional development initiatives across the firm.
