Hunt Electric, Inc. is seeking an experienced Audio-Visual Technician to join our audio-visual department and technology division. You will work closely with project management and field crews to ensure timely, accurate completion of installations.

The role involves installing AV systems in residential and commercial settings, with emphasis on quality and craftsmanship. We offer a full-time schedule with benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Interpersonal communication with customers and crew.
• Proficiency with computers and computer hardware.
• Strong organizational habits with a neat appearance.
• Troubleshooting skills and knowledge of AV/networking equipment.
• Proficiency with power and hand tools.
• Detail-oriented, neat and timely task completion.
• Experience in low voltage wiring and home theater/surround sound.
• Knowledge of construction, reviewing and understanding blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Install AV systems in residential and commercial environments.
• Set up networks, automation, lighting, and security integrations.
• Rack building and equipment configuration with wire management.
• On-site installations including testing, distribution, and trims.
• Review work orders and prepare for installs, upgrades, and repairs.
• Assist with equipment deployment, calibration and system debugging.
• Troubleshoot problems in the field.
• Train on integration and control systems as required.
• Maintain daily communication with the project team on progress.
• Interact with customers and other trades professionally.
• Wire termination including soldering, crimping, punch-down, etc.
• Demonstrate learning mindset and constructive team contribution.
• Maintain dependable attendance and schedule compliance.
• Other duties or locations as assigned by Manager.
