Job summary

Hunt Electric, Inc. is seeking an experienced Audio-Visual Technician to install and service AV systems in residential and commercial environments. You will work closely with project management and field crews to ensure timely, high-quality work and professional customer interactions.

The role involves configuring networks, wiring, rack setup, and system integration, with a focus on accuracy, safety, and craftsmanship. A strong aptitude for learning and teamwork is essential.

Qualifications

• Interpersonal communication with customers and crew.
• Proficiency with computers and hardware.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and knowledge of A/V equipment and wiring.
• Proficiency with power and hand tools.
• Detail-oriented, neat, organized, and able to meet deadlines.
• Experience in low voltage wiring and home theater/surround sound.
• Knowledge of construction and blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Install audio-visual systems in residential and commercial environments.
• Set up and configure networks and WANs/LANs.
• Rack building and equipment configuration with proper wire management.
• On-site installation including wiring, termination, and system setup.
• Review work orders and prepare for installs, upgrades, and repairs.
• Assist with equipment deployment, calibration, and system debugging.
• Troubleshoot field issues and coordinate with project team.
• Receive training on integration and control systems as required.
• Maintain professional communication with customers and trades.
• Operate tools and demonstrate dependable attendance and on-time performance.
• Other duties as assigned by Manager.
