Job summary

Rivian is seeking an Audio Software QA Engineer to design, build, and maintain an automated test framework for in-vehicle audio software. You will own software‑based audio validation across DSP chains, Linux/Android HALs, chimes, and media routing, bridging software, DSP, and vehicle release teams.

The role emphasizes end‑to‑end validation across Android Automotive, Linux, and RTOS environments, with QA leadership on test strategies, bug triage, and OTA release readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Audio Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years in software QA, audio test automation, or embedded validation.
• Proficiency in Python and C/C++, plus MATLAB/bash scripting.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable automated test frameworks for vehicle audio software regression testing.
• Integrate automated audio test scripts into CI/CD pipelines for automated build verification and regression testing.
• Develop automated audio signal analysis tools and perform latency measurements.
• Execute functional, regression, integration, smoke, and exploratory testing.
• Collaborate with DSP and Software Engineers to resolve issues and define release criteria.
