Fauna Robotics is seeking a Principal Audio Scientist to be the technical authority on how our robots hear and interpret sound in real environments. You will design, prototype, and ship the most demanding audio algorithms for noise suppression, echo cancellation, and multi-microphone processing on devices with real acoustic challenges.

Competenze

• PhD or Master with extensive research in audio processing.
• Strong track record shipping front-end audio algorithms on devices.
• Experience leading cross-geography teams and hardware discussions.
• Deep expertise in beamforming, noise suppression, and echo cancellation.

• Set the long-range science roadmap and lead the robot's audio system architecture.
• Design suppression of device noise from motors, fans, and movement.
• Design and implement echo cancellation for the robot's own voice.
• Develop multi-microphone processing for moving people and speakers.
