Job summary

Children's Law Center of California is seeking an Attorney Supervisor based in Monterey Park. The role oversees attorneys and staff, ensuring adherence to policy and facilitating high-quality advocacy for dependent children.

You will balance workloads, supervise case strategies, and mentor junior attorneys. The successful candidate will have 5+ years in dependency law, a JD, and active CA Bar status, with leadership experience and strong communication skills to coordinate with the management

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in dependency law and related practice areas.
• JD degree and active California Bar membership required.
• Management, supervisory, and training experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision to case-carrying attorneys and support staff.
• Allocate caseloads, courtroom coverage, and workload balance.
• Offer ongoing coaching, feedback, and performance evaluations.
• Contribute to management team goals and policy implementation.
• Coordinate with staff and leadership to maintain high-quality advocacy.
