You will oversee defense matters from inception to resolution, develop case strategy, supervise pleadings and discovery, and collaborate with firm leadership to grow the practice.

Qualifications

• J.D. is required from an accredited law school.
• Bar admission in New Jersey or eligibility for admission.
• Significant litigation experience, with medical malpractice defense preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handle and oversee medical malpractice defense matters from inception through resolution.
• Develop case strategy and exercise independent judgment on complex litigation matters.
• Draft and review pleadings, motions, memoranda, discovery, and other documents.
• Conduct and oversee legal research and analysis.
• Manage discovery, depositions, court appearances, and hearings.
• Assist with trial preparation and participate in trial-related matters.
• Review and guide the work of junior attorneys and staff.
• Mentor less experienced attorneys and contribute to practice development.
