Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of medical malpractice defense litigation experience
• Defense-side experience required; plaintiff-side backgrounds are not a fit
• Experience managing cases from inception through resolution with full file responsibility
• Trial experience preferred, with strong research and writing capabilities

Responsibilities

• Defend medical malpractice cases from start to finish
• Assume full responsibility for assigned files and litigation strategy
• Manage discovery, depositions, motions, hearings, experts, and case preparation
• Work directly with clients, insurers, opposing counsel, experts, and courts
• Prepare matters for trial and participate in trials as experience permits
• Manage a substantial caseload within a busy defense practice
